We offer scans by mail at Star Route. Our standard price is $2 per scan, or 6 for $10. This includes the scan, adjusting brightness and contrast, and sending the scan to you by e-mail. Include a self addressed, stamped envelope for return of your original photos, or to have your scans returned on a floppy. Price of a blank disk is 75 cents. Text and borders can be added for 50 cents per picture.
Send your photos to:
Include your full name and address, and your e-mail address or ICQ UIN. For each photo, include any special instructions, such as resizing, text, border size and color, and file name. You may print out our order form HERE. Payment may be made by check, money order, or credit card. Checks are to be made payable to DUBOIS DANIELS. Pictures will normally be scanned and e-mailed on the day they are received, although personal checks must clear before your order will be processed.
We can pull a still picture from your VHS video for the price of a scan. Now you can place your Wedding, graduation, vacation, or other event on your website or in e-mail. For a still capture, all directions are the same as for a scan. The standard format will be a JPG file in a 320x240 pixel size. We can also convert your video to AVI, MPEG, or Quicktime format for use on your website, as well as making animated GIFs. Prices start at $10 for up to 30 seconds video time, or $4 for an animated gif, up to 4 frames. For details or additional information, e-mail HERE.
We offer many file conversion services. We can convert any text file to HTML for website use. Existing image files can be converted to other formats and sizes to minimize download time.
